Free Microsoft Software for Charities and Not For Profit Organisations

If your organisation is a registered charity or an approved not for profit, you may be eligible for free software from Microsoft as part of our Charities Donation Programme. This is managed globally though a group called Techsoup. The regional partner managing the programme on behalf of Microsoft in NI is Charity Technology Trust (CTT) via the Charity Technology Exchange (CTX).

They are wholly responsible for determining eligibility and administration of the programme along with any subsequent administration costs. You could be eligible for  up to 50 licences for 6 applications. That's a possible 300 free licenses!!!

My recommendation would be for you to visit the CTX Microsoft eligibility criteria page and contact them for any guidance and advice. If you are eligible I would suggest you get advice from your ICT support person or company to determine what are the best choices for you.

The eligibility for Ireland registered organizations is HERE on the EncludeIT site
