Avert is the training branch of Foyle Women’s Aid and our aims are:
- To develop formal relationships, policies, protocols and procedures on domestic violence;
- To increase public awareness of domestic violence and build community capacity to respond to the needs of those affected by domestic violence;
- To develop and formalise training provision (accredited and non-accredited) in relation to domestic violence to all public, community and voluntary sector agencies;
- To continually evaluate training ensuring that the needs of those experiencing domestic violence are met.

Award in Community Justice – Supporting Victims of Domestic Violence Crime
Training can be delivered at our own premises for up to groups of 12 or in your own or an alternative venue.
