IT Academy Programme

The Microsoft IT Academy Programme is a new global Programme which has been developed as part of the Partners in Learning Initiative. The Programme has been designed by education for education, to allow accredited academic institutions (Academies) to deliver to students a premium education in cutting edge Microsoft technologies.

The IT Academy Programme provides a complete training and certification solution for Secondary Schools and Academic Institutions in order to provide their students with internationally recognised IT qualifications. It is a life-long learning model of continuous improvement.

Accredited qualifications

IT Academy Qualifications:

• IC³ (Internet and Computing Core Certification) - Certiport's Digital Literacy qualification
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) - Microsoft's offical qualification in the Microsoft Office desktop applications.

IT Professional Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) - Microsoft's IT Professional qualification

Delivery partner in Northern Ireland

Prodigy manages the Microsoft IT Academy Programme on behalf of Microsoft in the Republic and Northern Ireland. In this support role, Prodigy provides IT Academies with discounted textbooks from Micrsosoft Press, practice exam software, internet based testing facilities and marketing and technical support.
