Desktop Genie provides 1 to 1 training and support to small businesses on Microsoft Office Applications. Services are aimed at maximising business productivity, by considering how to get the most out of your working day.
How we can help
Desktop Genies training gives small businesses the skills necessary to design and implement their own business solutions, hence ensuring the need for minimal support, once the training programme is complete. For example, you may need help in designing and implementing an effective database; you may wish to create an easy to use spreadsheet to keep a record of expenses, invoices, profit & loss sheets, etc
Our training
Training is flexible, is delivered in slots of approximately 1 hour per session, and is delivered at a time, place and pace that suits your busy schedule.
Desktop Genie also hosts a programme of half-day workshops, which involve hands-on development of small business solutions.
These workshops are popular with community organisations, helping them to apply best practice processes, as they move from a funded organisation to a financially independent community business.

All our workshops are designed for those with minimal IT knowledge. The programme of workshops includes:

By the end of workshops 1, 2, 4 & 5 participants will have created useable documents that can taken away and used in their businesses immediately
