CommunityBuyer.org is a directory of companies that provide products and services aimed at the voluntary and community sector.
Purchasing products and services to suit your needs can be a complicated and time consuming process. Through the mixture of guidance, peer reviews and supplier directory we aim to connect you with the right supplier.
The companies and suppliers that are listed on communitybuyer have shown a keen interest in working with the voluntary and community sector and will often give extra discounts and savings.Look for the NICVA member discounts badge for great deals.
Social enterprise is becoming more prevalent throughout the sector - CommunityBuyer.org gives social economy enterprises an opportunity to market their products or services to the entire voluntary and community sector alongside private sector companies.
We often use word of mouth to inform our purchasing decisions - CommunityBuyer .org extends this by encouraging you to share your experiences with the wider sector. You can help other colleagues make more informed purchasing decisions by reviewing companies that you have purchased goods or services from. Use the rating system in conjunction with a comment to share your experience.

Occasionally we have to purchase products or services that we don't know much about. CommunityBuyer.org aims to help you by listing guidance information and checklists. You can also share your knowledge of a topic by publishing guidance information on the site and helping colleagues in the sector make more informed buying decisions.
Thank you for taking the time to use CommunityBuyer.org. Have a look around the site at the suppliers we currently have on the site, and please recommend a company to us if you have had a good experience with them.

NICVA’s Community Buyer project is performing an incredibly valuable service by bringing together Northern Ireland’s voluntary and community groups with the providers of relevant products and services.
The combination of information and advice, coupled with a single point of contact makes it much easier for community and voluntary groups to access the products and services they need.
