Tender Proposals for the Filming & Production of DVD outlining Aids for Peace Impact

The overall aim of this project is to produce a 15 minute summative DVD illustrating the learning from this cross-community youth project and highlighting how relationships between young people and youth workers from different traditions on this Island have been forged.

Inishowen Development Partnership and Farset Youth and Community have developed a strategic alliance to deliver a cross border cross community youth project supported by the European Union's PEACE III Programme, managed for the Special EU Programmes Body by the Community Relations Council/Pobal consortium. This project called Youth 52 has been running for the past two year period and this particular project will conclude in December 2011.

The DVD produced will capture the essence of the project itself which is to bring young people together to explore their common history, diverse cultures, and aspirations for the future, through a series of workshops, presentations, and outdoor pursuits culminating in a transnational programme delivered in Messines Belgium. The use of Ireland's experience in World War 1, and the brotherhood that arose between Irishmen on the Western Front to forge new relationships and new hope for our common future will also be documented

Tenders should be mailed (electronic or hard copy) to Shauna McClenaghan, Inishowen Development Partnership, St. Marys Rd., Buncrana, Inishowen, Co. Donegal

E-mail: shauna@inishowen.ie to arrive on or before 12 noon on Friday October 28, 2011. Regrettably, late tenders will not be considered.
